Interfaces designed around the journey, not just the screen.
Product and interface design for web apps and mobile: user flows, wireframes, UI design and design systems. I design the whole service people move through, including the booking flows, onboarding and the moments that decide whether it works, then build it so the experience survives contact with production.

How it runs
Understand the job
What the user is actually trying to do, and where the current experience loses them. The problem gets defined before the screens do.
Flows and wireframes
The journey first: entry points, steps, edge cases and the moments that decide whether it works. Cheap to change at this stage, expensive later.
UI and design system
The visual layer built as a reusable system of components and tokens, not a pile of one-off screens that drift apart.
Prototype and pressure-test
Clickable prototypes so the flow can be judged by using it, not by looking at it. Empty, loading and error states included, because that is where products actually fail.
Build or hand over
I can build it, or hand over specs and components a developer can work from without a translation layer.
Work like this
Designed by someone who has to ship it
Magpie, SocialOut and Dishsimply are mine end to end: product, design, code and deployment. Designing a product you then have to build changes what you draw. You stop producing beautiful screens that fall apart on real data, and you start designing the empty states, the error states and the flows that actually carry the load.
Responsive and delivers promptly as required, and still follows up with us months after the project was done and handed over.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between UI and UX?
UX is the journey: what someone is trying to do, the steps, and where it breaks. UI is the surface that carries it: layout, type, colour and components. A beautiful UI on a broken flow still fails, so I work the flow first.
Do you do user research?
As much as the project genuinely warrants. That can mean interviews and usability testing, or it can mean studying the existing analytics, support requests and competitor patterns. I would rather spend the budget on the right questions than on ceremony.
Can you build the product too, or only design it?
Both. I have designed, built and shipped my own web and mobile products end to end. If you have your own engineers, I hand over specs and a component system they can work from directly.
Do you build design systems?
Yes. Components, tokens, states and usage rules, so the product stays consistent as it grows and new screens do not drift away from the ones already shipped.
Do you design mobile apps as well as web?
Yes. SocialOut is a mobile product I designed and built, and Magpie and Dishsimply are web apps. The approach is the same: flows first, then the interface, then the system that keeps it coherent.
