Saudade

Saudade is a personal visual exploration of the untranslatable emotion rooted in the Portuguese word: a melancholic longing for something absent, whether a place, a time, or a feeling that may never return. Through a series of minimalist digital illustrations, I captured ordinary scenes that hold emotional weight, spaces that feel lived in, yet slightly empty.

The series was a solo project centred on mood, composition, and silence, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on their memories.
